Ready to ride?

Bring a valid motorcycle licence and be comfortable controlling a motorcycle on loose surfaces. The 10-Day Namibia Wild West is planned for intermediate+ riders. Tell us about your gravel experience before we confirm suitability.

Protective riding gear and appropriate travel, medical and evacuation cover are essential trip preparations. Ask our team for the applicable licence checks, age requirements and final damage-deposit terms in writing before booking.

Good questions.

When must I pay for my tour?

The full tour price must be paid at least 30 days before departure so the necessary tour arrangements and accommodation bookings can proceed. The motorcycle deposit is additional and is not part of the tour price. Whether an initial booking deposit is required, and its amount, are still to be confirmed.

What motorcycle will I ride?

A CFMOTO 450MT from the Adventure Bike Safaris fleet. Your bike is included in the package.

Is fuel included?

Yes. Motorcycle fuel is included in all four packages.

What food and drinks are included?

Breakfast is included after every tour overnight. On riding days, we provide snacks, light lunches, water, soft drinks and juices during the ride. Lunches and refreshments on rest days and non-riding excursion days are at your own cost. Dinners, evening food and drinks, and alcohol are excluded.

Is breakfast included with the accommodation?

Yes. All four packages include comfortable lodges and guesthouses with breakfast after each included overnight. At Goanikontes, breakfast is arranged by Adventure Bike Safaris as part of your package.

Can my luggage travel in the support vehicle?

Yes. Luggage transport is included. We will confirm bag-size limits with your trip information.

Do I need gravel experience?

The longer tours suit riders already comfortable on gravel. The four-day tour has a gentler pace, but is not a learn-to-ride course. Tell us honestly about your experience so we can advise.

What gear and documents should I bring?

Bring your valid motorcycle licence and your complete riding kit: helmet, protective jacket and trousers, gloves, motorcycle boots and suitable clothing. Guests arrange and pay for their own visas, entry documents and personal travel, medical and evacuation insurance.

What happens if I damage a motorcycle?

Can I book a private tour?

Yes. We can tailor the route, duration and accommodation around your group.

What is the weather like?

Prepare for changing conditions: cool early starts, warm inland afternoons and chilly coastal air. We will send seasonal packing guidance with your itinerary.

Can I request a separate room?

Yes. You can request shared accommodation or a separate room. Published starting prices are based on sharing; your room preference and price will be confirmed in your quotation.

Are airport transfers included?

Airport transfers are not included. We can arrange them on request at extra cost.

Are park fees included?

Yes. We arrange and pay the park entrance fees for your itinerary. Optional activities and excursion transfers are separate unless included in your quotation.

Will a guide and support vehicle travel with us?

Yes. A guide rides with the group and a support vehicle carries your luggage.

Before you ride.

Provisional minimum riding age: 18, subject to final operator and insurance approval. You need a valid motorcycle driving licence appropriate for the CFMOTO 450MT’s engine capacity. International driving documentation and insurance eligibility must be checked before a tour is confirmed.

The four-day tour offers a gentler introduction to touring, but is not a learn-to-ride course. Intermediate and longer tours require confidence on loose gravel. Tell us about your experience so we can assess suitability together.

Bring or arrange an appropriate helmet, protective jacket and trousers, gloves and motorcycle boots. Check that your own travel insurance covers the planned motorcycle activities, medical treatment and evacuation. No insurance coverage or access permission is guaranteed by this website.
